Angelina Henninger, PT, DPT

Angelina Henninger is a Physical Therapist and co-owner of Henninger Physical Therapy alongside her husband, Mat. She is passionate about empowering patients to take control of their own health, becoming active participants in their own recovery. This is done through education and establishing a supportive environment where patients feel heard and understood. In addition to her specialization in treating orthopedic conditions, Angelina treats patients with pelvic floor and core dysfunctions including helping mamas during the pre and post-natal periods. Her goal is to increase access to pelvic health treatment and education. Being an active mother of two herself, she loves helping other mothers feel strong and capable.

Angelina received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion at Florida Atlantic University. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at Thomas Jefferson University where she and Mat met in Philadelphia. She then became a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist after completing a specialized post-graduate residency program.

Angelina is originally from St. Louis, MO where much of her family still resides. She loves enjoying the outdoors with her husband and two young children. Living an active lifestyle is a hallmark of who she is as she loves trail running, weight lifting, hiking, paddle boarding, yoga, and more!

Mat Henninger, PT, DPT

Orthopedic Clinical Specialist

Mat is the Physical Therapist and co-owner of Henninger Physical Therapy (HPT) alongside his wife, Angelina. He is truly passionate about offering the surrounding community an active approach to recovery. His goal is to promote the overall health and wellness of each individual and help them achieve their personal goals, getting them back to what they truly love.

Mat grew up in Carlisle, PA and attended Messiah College where he completed his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and played basketball. He then went on to graduate from Thomas Jefferson University earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree. Mat also completed specialized postgraduate residency training to become a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.

Henninger Physical Therapy is located inside the Carlisle YMCA where when not treating patients you will find Mat playing basketball, lifting, and taking his two young kids to swim and enjoy the many community events. Mat and his family recently relocated back to PA after a season out west and are glad to be back near the family. Mat loves anything outdoors including skiing, hiking, running, and fishing amongst other recreations.
